The problem

Paid for once, then filed

Across development programmes, funders have paid for thousands of training courses that were delivered once, in person, to the people in the room. The slides, manuals and facilitator guides then went into cupboards and shared drives. Trainers moved on and the knowledge left with them, while new staff and partners never saw the material.

What we convert

The materials you already own

Slide decks

Workshop and webinar presentations, rebuilt as interactive screens.

Training manuals

Long-form guidance broken into short, searchable lessons.

Facilitator guides

Exercises and case studies turned into scenarios and activities.

Handouts and templates

Checklists and forms built in as downloads and self-checks.

Recorded sessions

Video edited into short clips with captions.

Why it pays

Value your project can report

Reach beyond the room

Staff, partners and new recruits take the course at any time, on any device.

Onboarding

New project staff learn the programme’s methods from day one.

Sustainability

A course on the partner’s own system outlasts the project, which supports the exit strategy funders look for.

Lower cost

Converting tested content costs less than commissioning a new course.

Evidence for MEL

Completion and quiz data from the learning management system feed your monitoring and evaluation.

How we work

How we work

Review

We inventory your materials and agree what to convert first.

Update

Our subject experts check the content against current funder guidance and correct what has changed.

Redesign

Content rewritten for self-paced learning, with interactions, animation and video.

Build and test

SCORM packages tested on your learning management system, on desktop and phone.

Handover

You receive the files and the SCORM packages, with no subscription.

Ownership

Rights checked before we start

Donor-funded training materials often carry ownership and licensing terms. Before converting anything, we confirm the rights with you and, where needed, with the original funder, so the finished course can be used and shared without risk.

FAQ

Questions about converting training to e-learning

Can you convert PowerPoint training into e-learning?

Yes. We rebuild slide decks as interactive screens with activities, knowledge checks and narration or video, and package the result as a SCORM course for your learning management system.

How long does it take to convert a training course?

The timeline depends on the volume of material and the amount of new interaction, animation and video. We agree the timeline and cost after reviewing your materials.

What if our training materials are out of date?

Our subject experts check the content against current guidance, update figures and rules, and flag anything that needs your decision before the build.

Who owns the converted course?

You do. We hand over the files and SCORM packages, after confirming the rights to the original materials with you and, where needed, the original funder.

Can the course be in Spanish?

Yes. Courses are available in English and Spanish, with Spanish written by our own specialist rather than translated line by line.

Do we need our own learning management system?

No. We set up a learning management system (LMS) for you, in your programme’s branding, with learner accounts and completion and score reports, or deliver the course for your existing platform, such as Moodle, TalentLMS or Cornerstone.
